Review : Origins Clear Improvement

Quote from Origins' website:
"When environmental toxins, dirt and debris get under your skin, its waste-filtering system gets jammed, pores get clogged, skin looks cloudy. Nature's complexion clean-up crew gets to the bottom of skins overcast condition and clears the way for it to act its best. Activated Charcoal acts like a magnet to draw out deep-dwelling pore-cloggers, White China Clay absorbs environmental toxins, Lecithin dissolves impurities. Without all that "stuff" down there, skin "breathes a sigh of relief."

I got this as a freebies, 75 ml compare to normal size 100ml, in last December - it was Christmas promotion, one of the best time to do shopping! The mask is in a squeeze bottle, which is better than in jar or mask sheet. It's charcoal black and can be icky for those who dislike black mask on their faces and the black liquid in the sink during removing the mask with water.

As advised by Origins (at the store, in Origins live chat), I cleansed my face with a face wash then dab my face to be damp enough, not too wet for easier application. I applied the mask thick enough that no sign of my skin color through the mask so it was squeeze, apply, check the mirror for thickness and the process went on till I was satisfied enough with my mask art (haha). Though, it was a bit annoying to remove traces of the mask from my fingers. During my first few times, I waited for 10 minutes but because of the humidity of my house, now I wait till the mask almost dry which can be more than 20 minutes (it helps if I face the full-blast fan but that feel like cheating!) I did feel cooling sensation and I was told that this is normal as the mask is doing its job. Washing the mask off was tricky as I either wash my face while showering or strip off my clothes and wear only towel around my body as the wet mask can stained clothes. Tip: You can dampen your face with warm, moist towel before you apply the mask to open pores and making the mask's cleaning pores more effectively.

When I first used this mask, the next day, I got new small acnes, just out-of-nowhere pop up in my poor face. From what I read from other blogs, apparently this was normal when the mask extracted the dirt and toxin out from pores. So, I just patiently put my acne treatment (I used Origins Spot Remover). Now, my face is noticeably clearer and less acne pop up in my face. And plus, the breezy, cooling sensation whenever I put the mask on!

4.5 Stars!

So Many Things To Review, So Little Time To Write!

The first thing came up into my mind, we need lots and lots of product reviews or methods reviews (exercises, cooking, communication, relationship, etc etc). So, here I am, trying to put as many my trial & error as I can in my 2nd blogpage (I have another one but that one was a failure experiment, haha). Hmm, but what should I choose as my first review? A book (my 1st love is reading, hehe)? My mp3 player? My on-off exercise program? How to irritate elder brother successfully (haha, a unique technique that can be shared among younger sisters who have annoying elder brothers, though mine is a great one albeit annoying sometimes, hehe).

Looks like have to sleep first to get my mind clear and whatever pop up first thing in the morning will be my first review!
